Conservative Treatment
This non-surgery means of treating lumbar spinal stenosis is often used in the early stages after diagnosis or when severe/progressive nerve involvment is not present. The treatment includes NAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), analgesics (Tylenol), epidural steroid injections, restricted activity, physical therapy, and a lumbar brace/corset.
